Actor and comedian Edward Parker Helms was born in Atlanta, Georgia on January 24, 1974 . He was a correspondent for Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart from 2002 to 2006. In the NBC sitcom The Office (2005 – 2013), he portrayed paper salesman Andy Bernard. In the Hangover trilogy, he portrayed Stuart Price. Later, he co-wrote and featured in the comedy series Rutherford Falls (2021 – 2022).

Along with comedies and dramas, Helms has acted in movies including Together, A Futile and Stupid Gesture, Chappaquiddick, Vacation; We are the Millers, Cedar Rapids, and Jeff Who Lives at Home, all of which were released in 2011. Everyone’s Hero (2006), Monsters vs. Aliens (2009), The Lorax (2012), Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie, Mune: Guardian of the Moon (2017), and Ron is Gone Wrong are among the animated films for which he did the voice acting (2021).
